Hi All!

Here is your weekly round up of what I’m pondering and exploring. Feel free to forward along to a friend if you think they might enjoy.

Embracing crisis

Last week I learned that in Kanji the word crisis is made up of danger and opportunity. Accepting this duality of both danger and the chance for growth is very hard but can ultimately transform you in unimaginable ways. It’s a hard time for a lot of us right now—including myself, which is why I think it’s important to remain optimistic if you are lost, struggling or unsure of the future.

How to build ANYTHING as a non-coder

Lately I’ve been building so many different apps, websites and games in my free time. Prior to AI none of this would have been possible. However, now anyone can pick up the tools and turn their ideas into tangible products. I’ve been using a range of different tools in combination to build. However, if you’re unsure where to start. I would recommend reading this X thread here, for an entire breakdown and workflow explanation on how to go from silly idea in your head to fully fleshed our working product.

My favourite YouTuber for rewiring your mindset

As of late I haven’t been a fan of self-help content on YouTube. However, there is one creator called HealthyGamerGG who is a licensed doctor in the US who actually provides great mental models for rewiring how you think about certain things in your life. I’ve attached a screenshot of a sample of his videos you can watch here. If you do decide to watch some of his content try not to fall into the rabbit hole of endless self improvement—I’ve been there before lol, but do maybe use them to tinker with some of your mental models of the world.

My thoughts on my new typewriter

Yesterday I got my typewriter fixed and had a chance to write something properly for the first time using it. Take a read of what I wrote below. Please excuse some of the mistakes, I’m still getting used to using one of these things.
